In India, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore is the highest-ranked institution, securing a position in the 251-300 range. Other Indian universities, including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), also feature in the rankings, reflecting the country’s growing presence in global higher education.
The rankings assess universities based on 18 performance indicators across five key areas: teaching, research, citations (research influence), international diversity, and industry income.
