Job Description
You will be in charge of – Arrange transportation facility as required for logistics of cargos Administer plans for handling and storage of shipments. Ensure the handling of materials or goods is in accordance to safety standards and Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs). Interpret and follow safety and security standards for teams. Monitor the safe stowage of materials or goods. Perform housekeeping operations and stock control of warehouse cargoes and items. Prepare cargo load plans based on weight of Unit Load Devices (ULDs) and available payloads. Prepare documentations for total number of outgoing cargoes. Prepare master Air Waybills (AWB) before dispatching cargo for loading on board aircraft. Report breaches in safety and security standards to relevant authorities. Report breaches of SOPs involving the handling of materials or goods to supervisors. Support compliance of height, weight and special handling requirements in stacking, moving and arranging items on pallets according to storage plans.Job Requirements: –
You should have proven work experience of at least 5 years in transport operations.
You should have experience working with fast-paced early-stage organizations.
Your organizational skills are excellent.
You can lead multiple projects, while prioritizing well and seeing the big picture.
You are resourceful. You know how to get things done and are not afraid of execution.
Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills in both English, Marathi & Hindi.
Clear expertise in MS Office: Excel, Word & PPT, Good knowledge about Logistics & Transport operations, cargo handling, loading & un-loading of cargo etc.
