Minimum 3years of Research experience is mandatory and experience working in medical devices companies would be an advantage. This is not a work from home job. Candidates who are willing to relocate can apply. Position Description: As a researcher in life sciences, you’ll mostly be involved in planning and conducting experiments and analysing results. This could either be for a definite end use, such as to develop new products, processes or commercial applications, or to broaden scientific understanding in general. You’ll usually carry out your experiments and research on your own, but you’ll typically be part of a larger team and will share your findings and relevant information with colleagues. You will also support with the regulatory & IPR. Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) activities for the R&D team. Objectives of this Role
Planning, protocol designing, and conducting experiments to investigate and analyse scientific phenomena
Extrapolating data to develop theories which aim to explain these phenomena
Keeping up to date by reading specialist literature and articles and implementing in the research products
Recording and analyzing all projects and identify projects to improve its efficiency and ensure better understanding about the product
Participate in performing research and prioritize and plan various research programs.
Analyze and identify problems and resolve it effectively.
Planning and conducting experiments in UV & healthcare related products
Carrying out fieldwork, eg collecting samples
Presenting results to senior/other research staff
Demonstrating procedures related to efficiency testing
Organizing product/materials for testing
ensuring that research & testing quality standards are met
liaising with research and/or production staff to make the necessary changes in the products.
keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments
Skills and Qualifications
Pharm-D, B-Pharmacy
Proven working experience as Research Scientist in medical devices company (mandatory)
Scientific and numerical skills
A logical and independent mind
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent analytical skills
Written and oral communication skills
